Tournament Information

Take a trip down memory lane with a look at the 2004 Tournament! Click on the guardsman above!

The Tournament is fast approaching and the game schedules have now been published.

Please remember that ALL the Tournament profits go directly to funding the development of lacrosse in the South of England. Over the last eight years the number of men’s teams in the South and BUSA South leagues has increased from 18 to 57 so let’s keep that growth going by helping new teams to buy equipment and coaching.Come along to watch the games and bring friends!!

The standard of the games in both the Men’s and the Women’s Divisions will be very high with no clear favourites and many surprises to come over the weekend.

Gin & Juice were the winners of the 2005 men’s tournament and are back to fight to keep the trophy, however, having just won the Berlin Open, US Athletes International are sending a team to see if they can do the European Double. Team Gatorade and USA West are the other US visitors and both have strong squads. UKLacrosse always put together powerful teams and this year will be no different with two sponsored teams in the women’s division and one in the men’s.Tournament Hosts, the South of England have decided to take advantage of the standard of the competing teams to enter two teams to give the South Development squad a chance to test themselves in full no-holds barred competition. In the women's division Zenith Galaxy may hold a few surprises for the other teams with some top class players flying in from America and several Wales players joining the squad. UKLacrosse's two teams, Artemis and Nemesis, packed with current and former international players, will both be strong and will give the South and the two Scottish teams some serious competition. Nothing can be predicted except that it will be exciting and that the winners of both the men's and the women's will have to be very, very good.

Both Divisions will benefit from excellent teams of officials under Head Referee Simon Peach and Head Umpire Karen Owen. There is a free car park for players, officials and people with disabled parking permits opposite the main entrance to South Meadow, spectators are also welcome to use the car park subject to available space.

There is also on-street parking along South Meadow Lane and in pay car parks around Eton.

For physically-challenged visitors please be aware that there is an accessible toilet by the main entrance and that the field is level and reasonably accessible in a wheelchair. A Tournament Party is planned for the Saturday night in Windsor, the organisers are finishing final details and more info will follow soon, keep the evening free!!

On the Tournament site UKLacrosse and Zenith will be selling a full range of lacrosse equipment and IES will be taking and selling game photographs. There will be a full bar serving alcoholic and soft drinks.
